Greater Phoenix Leadership Seeks Administrative Professional

Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL), the state’s premiere consortium of CEO business leaders, seeks an administration professional to support senior leadership via coordination of scheduling, meeting preparation, appointments and general administrative support for GPL team members.

Position: Administrative Assistant and Scheduler

Reports to: Director, Operations & Support

Organizational Summary

Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL), the state’s premiere consortium of CEO business leaders, seeks an administration professional to support senior leadership via coordination of scheduling, meeting preparation, appointments and general administrative support for GPL team members.
The individual in this role will interact regularly with the organization’s members and must possess a high level of comfort and skill in communicating with CEO and community leadership executives. Relationship building, excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a genuine desire to meet the needs of the team are key components of this position.

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Provide the primary administrative support to the GPL Executive Vice-President by handling any necessary clerical tasks, prioritizing and planning work flow, contributing to organization and planning of calendars, meetings, or travel.
• Coordinate and implement communication, scheduling and attendance tracking of all GPL monthly membership, Standing Committee and Task Force meetings for GPL member engagement staff
• Responsible for maintaining GPL databases and ensuring consistency and functionality across data platforms, as well as assisting members with access to these platforms when necessary
• Other responsibilities and duties as necessary

Knowledge and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be strongly detail-oriented, and organized, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and coordination and problem-solving skills. Dependability and a commitment to ensuring that all interactions between the organization and its members are positive and productive are essential.

Required qualifications include:
• Five to seven years-experience in an administrative role,
• Strong proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office suite,
• Excellent computer skills and a willingness and ability to learn new platforms,
• Meeting and event planning skills,
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill GPL’s professional expectations of accountability, active collaboration, strong work ethic and a commitment to open communication, respect, diversity and professionalism.

Preferred qualifications include:
• Previous knowledge or use of Salesforce and BoardEffect platforms; previous use of WordPress and/or a general understanding of website maintenance and updates.
• Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred

Compensation and Benefits

GPL offers a market-based competitive compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience required for high performance of duties. A fully remote/virtual work environment is currently being utilized for all organizational and employee activity.
