  • Developed P-20 concept and architecture.

  • Advocate, support and expand Teach for America in Arizona.
  • Advocate, support need based post secondary education scholarships.
  • Advocate, assist and support state-wide marketing plan for P through 20 education.
  • Advocate for increased teacher pay.
  • Helped create a new grade level by supporting all day kindergarten for every family in Arizona.
  • Supported investments in Arizona’s universities to triple the state’s contribution to student financial aid, improve college graduation rates and increase enrollment at Arizona universities.
  • Supported Phoenix’s first medical school, bio-medical campus, and co-operation among institutions.
  • Supported effort to invest $400 million in research laboratory space at Arizona’s state universities.
  • Advocated for increased high school graduation requirements from two to four years of math and from two to three years of science to ensure Arizona graduates are prepared for the 21st century economy.
